Photo-exhibition
On the occasion of the 65th priesthood anniversary and the 90th jubilee of the hierarch of the Catholic Church in Belarus the publishing house “Pro Christo” prepared a photo-exhibition.
The presentation of fragments of this exhibition took place on the 1st and 2nd of July 2004 during the 500th anniversary of Budslau. Many pilgrims who came to the National sanctuary of Mother of God of Budslau looked with interest and admiration at the photos where were reflected the moments of revival of the Catholic Church during the past decade under the direction of His Eminence cardinal Kazimierz Swiatek, Metropolitan of Minsk and Mogilev, the Apostolic Administrator of the diocese Pinsk, the Chairman of the Conference of the Catholic Bishops in Belarus.
The presentation of this exhibition enriched with new photos from the life of cardinal Kazimierz Swiatek and his September meeting with the Holy Father took place from 14 till16 of October 2004 in Gdansk during the “International Sacral Exhibition Catholic Churches - 2004”. The photo-exhibition got the title “Witness of Faith” - with such award cardinal Kazimierz Swiatek was decorated by the institute of Paul VI. “Fidei testis» (“Witness of Faith”) is the title of the album dedicated to the 65th priesthood anniversary and the 90th jubilee of the hierarch of the Catholic Church in Belarus which was prepared by the publishing house “Pro Christo” together with the printing-house “Apostolicum”.
On the 21st of October 2004, on the day of the 90th jubilee of cardinal Kazimierz Swiatek, in the Minsk Archcathedral church of the Name of the Blessed Virgin Mary the believers of Minsk parishes and many high guests who came to congratulate the hierarch of the Catholic Church in Belarus could visit the exhibition. On this day the Archpastor got the first exemplars of the album “Fidei testis” - as congratulation from the employees of the publishing house “Pro Christo”.
